Gers u15 boys finished up their Div 1 league campaign with two entertaining games in the past week against O’Connells/Stabannon/John Mitchels and Naomh Fionnbarra respectively.

Against O’Connells/Stabannon/John Mitchels we struggled in 1st half falling behind before greatly improving in the 2nd half showing glimpses of the potential this side has. The combination side ran out winners on a scoreline of 4-16 to 3-07.

Our game against Naomh Fionnbarra saw us put in a very good performance with some quality tackling, intelligent kick passing and excellent teamwork. We ran out deserving winners on a 2-16 to 3-10 scoreline.

We won 3 games and lost 5 games in Division 1 to finish in 7th place. Get well soon to any of the lads currently injured.b Attention now turns to preparing for the Championship in August.
