The Gers Minors were back to winning ways on Friday 28th July with a comprehensive display against Roche.

The Gers were 2-6 to 1 ahead at halftime with strong performances from Suraj and man of the match Callum Boothman who set the tone defensively intercepting vital ball and the hard running of Cian Farrell from midfield.

The lads kept the score board ticking over with the pick of the scores coming from Alex o Kane and Cillian Lynch.

The Gers started the second half on the front foot with two well taken goals by Cian Spaight and some fine fielding from Jamie Soraghan who was dominant throughout.

Highlight of the night was to see Shayne Soraghan make his return from a lengthy injury. All subs made a strong impact when introduced. Well done to all the boys involved 👏
